Baylor Army ROTC Stand Up Ceremony

On September 8th, 2025, Baylor University (BU) Army ROTC held its Stand Up Ceremony, officially marking the program’s transition from a satellite program of Texas Christian University (TCU) Army ROTC to a Host program. The event began with BU Battalion Commander, CDT Ainslie Stewart, and UMHB Company Commander, CDT Alondra Barajas, unfurling the unit colors, signifying BU’s activation as a Host program.

Following the unfurling, the 5th Brigade Commander, COL Julia Brennan, delivered remarks recognizing the accomplishments of cadets from both programs and thanked LTC Kevin Nogle for leading the largest ROTC program in the brigade for the past 2 years. At the conclusion of the ceremony, LTC Kyle Friesen expressed his enthusiasm and commitment to developing future Army officers.
